It’s the MOST Wonderful Time Of The Year! Once again, our adorable little town of Mullica Hill outdid itself! The 2021 Lights on Main was another HUGE success. A three-day long celebration, this event was a bases-loaded HOME RUN!  

The event has been touted as the Best of the Best in Gloucester County since 2013, and this year will definitely be another award winning year.

Lights on Main was Bigger and Better Than Ever!

Many of the businesses collaborated with each other to make this event bigger and better!  Last year, the event was coined “Miracle on Main” and the town did not shut down Main Street like they did in previous years because of the pandemic. They did a three day town-wide event, allowing proper social distancing. This year, the town decided to bring back the “Lights On Main” title and have Main street shut down for the Main Event on Saturday night,  but kept it as a three day town-wide event, so as many people as possible could enjoy our wonderful, yearly celebration!

Like a scene from a Hallmark movie…

Like a scene from a Hallmark Christmas movie, the town was decorated from top to bottom with holiday lights and decorations. There was live music, food, fun things to do and some adult libations, too!  Everywhere you looked you would see smiling faces. It was a beautiful evening. There were horse drawn carriage rides, a S’mores station, a HUGE bounce- house type slide for the kids, and so much more! 

A Star-Studded Event!

It was a star-studded event with celebrity sightings of Elsa, Anna and Olaf from Frozen.  The Grinch was hanging around at Naples trying to steal everyone’s Christmas Spirit, but he didn’t! Everyone was smiling and laughing while shooting selfies with his grouchy face! Of course, the Big Guy in red was there; Santa Claus! He an Mrs. Claus took a moment from their busy schedule to make an appearance for all the little ones around town to see them.

3, 2, 1… Lights On!

At 7 pm on Saturday night,  Mayor Manzo led the countdown to the tree lighting. Kids of all ages counted down 10, 9, 8, 7, 6,5, 4, 3, 2, 1… Happy Holidays Mullica Hill! When the tree lit up the crowd went wild with cheers!  Everyone was snapping photos of the Christmas tree with their family and friends. It was an event to be remembered, making memories that everyone will cherish for years to come.

The festivities continued into the evening and again on Sunday. This was by far the best celebration to date, and everyone is looking forward to seeing what the town will do next year, especially with the new Harbaugh Village opening soon!  This will be a tough act to follow, but this town keeps getting better and better, and we’re extremely excited for the future.
